Audiologist

Dr. Debra Brewer has over 30 years experience in audiology. Prior to joining Athens Oconee Audiology, she spent 25 years at Emory Healthcare in the Audiology Division of the Department of Otolaryngology. While there she supervised audiology students and interns, taught audiology courses for medical residents, performed the full array of diagnostic, implant, and hearing aid services. At AOA she performs diagnostic testing, fits hearing aids, and conducts cochlear implant evaluations and mapping. She enjoys counseling and educating patients about the benefits of treated hearing loss and how hearing aids can improve quality of life. Dr. Brewer’s hobbies include reading, running, hiking, and gardening.
